Obituary for Estelle Lanier
Estelle Lanier of Green Acres Lane, Mckenney slipped into eternal rest at her residence on February 13, 2017. Estelle accepted Christ at an early age and began her Christian journey at the Big Bethel Baptist Church in Mckenney. Left to cherish her precious memory are her son Edward “Vinny” of the home; 1 step daughter, Lula M. Hunter (Freddie) of Petersburg; 1 adopted son Reynoldson Zehmer (Nancy) of Mckenney ; 2 sisters, Ruth Lee Hobbs of Ford, VA and Mary Alford of Benson, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, including a devoted friend Lula McFarland. Funeral services will be held on Friday February 17, 2017 at 2PM at the Big Bethel Baptist Church, Mckenney, VA. Rev. Alexander Williams, Pastor will officiate and Rev. Arlester Newsome will deliver the eulogy. Interment will be in the First Baptist Church Memorial Gardens. The remains can be viewed on Thursday from 10AM til 8PM at the W. L. Fields Funeral Home.
